At Fifteen Central Park West, the collaboration between Robert A.M. Stern, Roger H. Seiften and Mica Ertegun resulted in an interior for 15 Central Park West made up of marble flooring, textured glass, Brazilian rosewood and even imported 19th century French fireplace bricks. The result is a beautiful finish with live colours.
Whereas the most expensive sale to occur at 15 Central Park West was for about $88 million or roughly £57 million ($13,000 per sq. ft.), the penthouse at One Hyde Park was reportedly purchased for £140 million (£7,000 per sq. ft.). Both however broke and set records in terms of the square foot price in their respective markets.
