Finchatton has worked with established houses including Vanners, and Holland & Sherry as well as with contemporary textile designers such as Handmade Interiors by Akin & Suri and Teasel. The materials and fabric have been designed bespoke and tailored to the furnishings.
A Niamh Barry chandelier and several pieces of furniture such as a shagreen side table and suede-lined chest of drawers have been specifically commissioned for The Penthouse.
“At The Penthouse, Connaught Apartments, we had the opportunity to use fabrics and textiles in new and exciting ways,” says Danielle Joyce, Senior Designer for the project, “a horsehair fur pouffe in the family room, and a sofa upholstered in mohair have allowed us to have fun whilst creating the luxurious interiors which Finchatton are known for.”
Who else is talking about it?
The Telegraph Luxury,
“Take Finchatton’s new 3,765 sq ft penthouse apartment in Connaught Apartments, on Mount Street in Mayfair, to be priced somewhere between £15m and £20m. The future buyer will get access to the adjacent Connaught Hotel’s exquisite services – but better than that, Finchatton have teamed up with the rare whisky brand The Dalmoreto create a one-off bottle for the penthouse.
Only The Dalmore’s master distiller has tasted this vintage, from a barrel that was opened – then instantly sealed again – for this bottle only. Just to cement its status as a one-off item, the bottle has a solid silver neck engraved with Finchatton and the date.”
