Commercial Property Values Have Rebounded 15.1%

The latest Monthly Index from CBRE showed a further acceleration of capital growth in March, taking first-quarter 2010 price rises to 4.4 percent.

Total returns, comprising rental value growth and capital value growth, now stand at 6.2 percent in 2010 so far. All commercial property values have now rebounded 15.1 percent since a two-year pricing slump halted in July, CBRE data shows.

It is clear there is an  ongoing disparity between supply and demand; that appears to be supporting current prices due to the limited stock available.
